The Best is Yet to Come

Whatever happened or did not happen in 2013 is behind us. We want to give thanks to the Lord for allowing us to begin 2014, which will be a great and prosperous year.

As we embrace and embark on 2014 let us remember to give thanks to the Lord always, putting him first in everything we do.

According to Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord has great plans for us, to lead us in to green pastures. As we make our new year’s resolution, let us not forget to include our walk with God.

I challenge you to become a world-class Christian, spreading the love of Jesus everywhere.  (Mark 16:13; Psalm 67:2)

Shift from being self-centered to Christ-centered, thinking. (1 Corinthians 14:20)

From local thinking to global thinking. (John :16)

Pray for opportunities to witness. (Colossians 4:3)

Pray for courage to speak up. (Ephesians 6:19-20)

Pray for those who will believe. (John 17:20-21)

Pray for rapid spread of the gospel. (2 Thessalonians 3:1)

Pray for more workers in the vineyard. (Matthew 9:37-38)

Shift from temporary thinking to eternal thinking. (2 Corinthians 4:18)

Give yourself a regular spiritual check-up. (Lamentation 3:40)

Remember, God has created us for ‘such a time as this’ and there are no limits to his blessings and opportunities.

Sis Karen Gause

“I have been truly blessed since joining First Love Family Ministries. I came to Southwest Florida with no job and after Pastor and Sister Gause prayed with me that a door would open for me, I ended up being able to a job, for I had been offered 2. They are very supportive and loving people who are proof that prayer works.”
